Selecting Data Locations

Throughout Bungee Builder, properties present a drop-down box coupled with an ellipsis button [...] that you use to set the Site (source or destination) for various data elements. The drop-down box lets you select the data element’s location and the ellipsis button brings up a dialog box in which you select the desired object (except for Data and Expression). The most commonly used sites are:
- Path--for selecting a field or an argument of a function
- Var--for selecting a variable
- Data--for specifying a literal--the ellipsis button is replaced with a text box
- Object--for creating a new object
- Expression--for specifying an expression--the ellipsis button is replaced with a text box
- Adapter--for selecting an adapter
- Collection--for selecting a collection
For example, if you select Var from the drop-down box, then, when you click the ellipsis button, you can select from a list of variables in the dialog box.
