Use the Track for Cancel property to restore the initial value of the field if notified that the parent dialog is canceled.

Selected	When the parent dialog (form) is opened, the system stores the initial value, and restores this value when notified that the parent dialog is canceled.
Cleared	The initial value is not stored.

IMPORTANT The parent form containing the the control bound to this field must have the Auto Cancel property selected to enable the fields to receive the cancel notification.

For example, if a checkbox control is bound to a boolean field, checking and un-checking the checkbox will immediately update the boolean field to which the checkbox is bound.  Then if the dialog containing the checkbox is canceled (using either a Cancel button or the X at the top right of the dialog) the value of the boolean field will be reset to the initial value.
